Yet, her troubles don't end as she's punished by God for not having passed the exams the first time round. Kiri is given a love letter by a man on a train. It turns out that the man is way older than her and she has no interest in him. Kanako, Yuzuru and Sachi try their best to find a way to reject the man's advances. Matsurika helps solve the problem by chopping a "Rejected" seal on all of the documents and such the man has given Kiri, leading him to give up on her.

Nevertheless, the play finishes, gaining warm admiration from the audience while Chitoge recognizes her true love for Raku. With their usual relationship back in place, Chitoge apologizes to Raku for her harsh behavior and adds that she will still be herself in front of him. During a conversation with Kosaki, Raku takes notice of Kosaki's desire of playing the role of Juliet. To compensate for not having played her role, as a result Raku and Kosaki reprise their roles as Romeo and Juliet respectively and did a private play for themselves as Chitoge looks into the horizon and remarks the conclusion of their memorable cultural festival.

Later, Shiina's mother reveals she was the one who asked Shiina to invite Ryo and Kirin over, thanking them for being her friend. Afterwards, they have an overdue Tanabata festival and fireworks, crossing off pretty much every summer activity they had in mind.
