Shungo, Mayu and Reika are attacked by soldiers and are held captive in the house. Shungo fights back but is beaten up after being knocked out by a mysterious woman in a Tiki mask. Reika exploits Mayu's bad luck to trigger the various traps in the forest, spreading chaos among the enemy. She uses this as a diversion to free Shungo, who then faces off against the mysterious woman.

Maria attempts to get Yukine and Kenshi together after seeing how much affection she has for him, while Kenshi is being chased by girls who have fallen for him. Later, while Kenshi talks about his past with Lashara and Chiaia, Chiaia accidentally breaks the string and replaces it with a red string, which symbolizes love much to her chagrin.

During the process of Kenshi's pay going towards Lashara, she realizes how much money Kenshi has made and decides to make him continue working. Kenshi is later introduced to Lithia Po Chiina, the daughter of the Pope and President of the Student Council, and her assistant Lapis. Later, he is hypnotized by Mexiah to become a "massaging machine", which he gives to Chiaia, Aura, Lithia, Yukine, Wahan and some other girls.

After seeing Kenshi's capabilities in battle, Lashara decides to make him her servant while concealing the truth about him being a Seikishi from the others. Kenshi witnesses the Holy Land and the academy that Lashara and Chiaia attend. Kenshi becomes more aware of his duties as a servant while making new friends, and meeting Chiaia's older sister Mexiah. Kenshi has a brief witness between Chiaia and a man named Dagmyer Mest, a childhood friend of Chiaia's. Kenshi meets Aura in the forest and later aids Ulyte before he gets sick. Kenshi later meets Maria Nanadan, Lashara's cousin and princess of Havoniwa, and her assistant Yukine. At the end, both Wahan and Chiaia are appointed advanced Seikishi.

#10 - Let's Go to the Beach

The crew go to the beach for a 'vacation', where Mayu starts getting closer to Shungo as Reika continues to try to upstage her. After witnessing Shungo inviting Mayu to watch the stars together, Reika wanders off in a depression. Shungo runs off to find her, only to meet her inner self instead. Things end with the appearance of a mysterious group of soldiers.

#11 - Let's go have fun!

Shungo, Mayu and Reika spend the last day in Kyoto having fun together, like they did back when they were children. Tasuku tries to break them up by using his family's ninja-clan to eliminate Mayu, only to be stopped by Irori. Irori confesses her love to Tasuku and tells him she has only loved him, not Shungo. Mayu leaves the house and Shungo is under arrest.

#12 - Don't Run Away!

Reika's inner self has taken over and uses her corporate muscle to separate Shungo from Ryōko in an attempt to restore his memory. After reminiscing with Reika, he's drugged and held captive (plus nearly raped) in order to keep him from Mayu. Irori and Tasuku then combine forces with Shungo's other friends in an attempt to rescue him.

Rakka goes to work with Nemu at the library. There she meets Sumika, a kindly pregnant woman who is interested in Rakka's perspective as a newborn. Nemu tells Rakka about an old, unreadable book called The Beginning of the World. Rakka learns about another group of Haibane, both male and female, living in Abandoned Factory on the other side of town.

Haibane Renmei - Season 1 - Episode 10
A flashback shows the kindly Kuramori, who promised to stay with Reki forever. In the present, Reki goes to the Haibane Renmei to ask for help for the ailing Rakka, and is told that Rakka is no longer Sin-Bound. Rakka is given her own job within the wall around the city, and the Haibane from Abandoned Factory offer a tentatively friendly gesture.
