Aria the Scarlet Ammo - Season 1 - Episode 3

Aria follows Kinji to the arcade where he manages to win some plush dolls for her. The next day, Kinji and Aria learn that a schoolbus has been hijacked by the fabled Butei-killer and fitted with a bomb that will explode if it slows down with an armed convertible preventing the passengers from interfering. As the busdriver gets injured when an attempt to stop the convertible is foiled by heat-detection, Aria and Kinji arrive on the scene, taking out the convertible. With the bus slowly running out of gas, Aria finds the bomb on the underside of the bus whilst Kinji finds and destroys the communications sensor. The bomb is disarmed by the sniper ace, Reki, but Aria is injured by another armed vehicle whilst trying to protect Kinji. As she is treated in hospital, she feels disappointed that Kinji didn't meet her expectations.

She reveals a level of Home Ec Club-cultivated "Girl Power" that astounds her fellow members. Karin tells a story about a peer from middle school attending a social mixer. Sakura decides to have the club assume the role of boys and girls and practice so they'll know what to do if they're ever get caught up in a social mixer.

During summer break, while spending his holidays with Okiku and Rin, Souta is kidnapped by Riru and brought to Akane's house, to fulfill Akane's wish to meet him. As a result, Okiku, Rin, Megumu, Mei and Kurumiko went to Akane's house. Nanami, knowing the Quest Dorm members are at Akane's house, are frustrated because she wasn't invited as well. Thus, the Quest Dorm members (plus Ruri) decided to meet Nanami at her country in Principality of Bladefield. On their way to the capital, Twinblade, Souta met Hakua, the 14th Princess of Bladefield, Nanami's half-sister. Later they are being chased by Ruri's clone, which is programmed to assassinate Hakua and Nanami. Souta felt his power increases again and used his own power to save both of them from the assassination, though that makes them separated from the main group.
