During Simon's first day at Junior High School, he is caught with a knife that his mother had given him to cut his chicken. Simon is suspended for a day. Lucy and Jimmy break up after Jimmy sees that Lucy has dyed her hair blonde and he's turned off by it. Tension mounts in Kevin and Lucy's marriage as they continue to grieve over losing their babies. A hurt Lucy even blames Kevin in public in front of everyone at the church for miscarrying their boys. Lucy begins to disconnect more from the family as she's spending more time at the movies everyday alone at the promenade. His efforts work by the end, but is having a hard time telling Robbie about his interest in his ex-girlfriend.
