Jang Jae-yul is a famous mystery novelist and popular radio DJ who suffers from OCD. When he meets Ji Hae-soo, a first-year psychiatry fellow at the hospital where he is being treated, they help each other work through their deep-rooted emotional issues. Hae Soo is a 21st century woman who gets caught in a solar eclipse and is transported to the Goryeo Dynasty, which ruled Korea from the 10th century for nearly 500 years. A man as feared as he is handsome, Wang So is based on the real-life fourth king of the Goryeo Dynasty and makes others tremble but wins over Hae Soo’s heart. However, he is not the only one in the palace with eyes on the throne, and a political battle of deception, secrecy and lies ensues between Wang So and all the other princes. Adding to the drama are Eighth Prince Wang Wook, who is less than willing to wait in line behind seven other members of the royal family, and Third Prince Wang Yo, whose right to the crown actually precedes Wang So’s.

The management company of the idol group A.N.JELL insisted on adding a new singer to the group as the lead vocal, Tae-kyung's voice was hurting. However,the new member, Mi-nam, had to go to the States to repair a botched eye job just before signing the contract. His agent came up with the idea of having his twin sister, Mi-nyu,to stand in for him and pretend that she was her brother. The two of them grew up in an orphanage and Mi-nyu, who was all set to become a nun, agreed to this charade as she didn't want to spoil her brother's chance of fame which would make it easier to look for their mother.

So Ji-sub plays the miserly, greedy, and conceited CEO Joo Joong-won, who measures all human relationships through money. Gong Hyo-jin will play the melancholy and tearful assistant Tae Gong-shil, who is able to see ghosts after an accident and thus suffers from insomnia. She lives a very reclusive and closed-off life due to her ability. The story is being touted as “soul healing” drama that brings together very different types of people: one who can see and hear things that no one else in the world can and another who only hears and see things he wants too. As Joo Joong-won starts to believe in Tae Gong-shil’s claim of being able to see ghosts, these two people will grow together in faith and in character.

Cha Dae-woong is a spoiled brat with plans to become a successful action star. One day, on the run from his rich grandfather's latest fit of rage towards him, he accidentally frees a nine-tailed fox (gumiho) who has been imprisoned in a painting for 500 years. Frightened at first, he runs away to the woods and ends up getting seriously injured. Feeling indebted to him, gumiho gives him her " fox orb " a powerful part of her life force, to heal him. When he wakes up, the two form an awkward partnership, as Dae-woong begins to rely on the power of the orb to shoot his action sequences, while also giving in to Mi-ho's request to teach her how to act human. Though Dae-woong is initially acting out of fear, things start to change as he gradually begins to fall for her. However, Mi-ho will be faced with a terrible choice as her time in human form runs out in this heart-wrenching comedy.

Kim Do-jin, an architect with a scathing tongue have romantic relationship with strict high school teacher Seo Yi-soo, who moonlights as an umpire at amateur baseball games. Im Tae-san is dating a cold-hearted woman but wonders if there is someone else out there for him. Choi Yoon tries to heal his heart after losing his wife seven years ago. Lee Jung-rok marries an older woman for money but may lose his comfortable lifestyle in a divorce.
