#1 - Scorpion and Sub Zero (2) 8.32

With the Shirai Ryu clan murdered by the hands of Sub-Zero and the Lin Kuei, Hanzo Hasashi has failed to protect his village. With his eternal soul destined to rot in the depths of hell, he is visited by a mysterious sorcerer. Will vengeance be enough to get Scorpion to enter the Mortal Kombat Tournament?

#2 - Scorpion and Sub Zero (1) 8.06

Season 1 - Episode 7

Hanzo Hasashi, better known as the warrior Scorpion, is summoned to meet with the Shogun of Kumamoto Castle. While traveling, the fearless General of the Shirai Ryu clan encounters his mortal enemy, Sub-Zero. Scorpion realizes too late that this trap has led him away from his village and family, leaving them without means to defend themselves. He knows that he must defeat Sub-Zero and return to his village before it is too late.

#3 - Kenshi vs Ermac 8.00

Season 2 - Episode 4

We continue with Kenshi's origin story in feudal Japan and watch as he is blinded in his first fight with Ermac. In the present, blind Kenshi battles Ermac in the tournament, finally defeating him.

#4 - Cyrax and Sektor 7.92

Season 1 - Episode 9

Cyrax and Sektor are chosen to be the future of the Lin Kuei by the Grand Master, but Cyrax is less than enthusiastic about giving his life over to a cybernetic transformation that will erase his memories and turn him into the ultimate fighting machine. When he discovers that the cyborg he is fighting seems closely familiar, Sektor must keep Cyrax focused on destroying Hydro, and not himself or their future...

#5 - Raiden 7.87

Season 1 - Episode 6

The following episode represents director Kevin Tancharoen's "different take on the Mortal Kombat universe," combining the perfect amount of gritty realism mixed with a hint of mysticism... When Lord Raiden, God of Thunder and protector of Earth, finds himself in an earthly mental institution in the year 2011, his 'delusions' are treated with some rather primitive forms of therapy (involving an ECT machine and an ice pick). Nonetheless, Blue, his beautiful, fragile yet insane fellow inmate, is Raiden's only hope of escaping the mental hospital and making his way to the Mortal Kombat tournament to defend Earthrealm from Shao Khan.

#6 - Johnny Cage vs Kitana and Mileena 7.85

Season 2 - Episode 6

We flash back to how Johnny Cage was recruited to the tournament by Raiden... as he sits in a jail cell. In the present, we watch as Johnny fights for his life against Mileena and Kitana. He is only able to escape when the sisters turn on one another.

#7 - Scorpion vs Sub Zero 7.84

Season 2 - Episode 8

We flash back to feudal Japan and reference the moments in Season 1 where Scorpion's family is seemingly murdered by Sub Zero and his clan. In the present, Scorpion searches the tournament field for Sub Zero and exacts his revenge.

#8 - Jax, Sonya and Kano (2) 7.68

Season 1 - Episode 2

When Jax realizes time is of the essence to save Sonya, a fellow lieutenant in the Outworld Investigation Agency, from Kano's deadly hand, he holds nothing back in this action-packed, two-on-one battle to keep a shipment of stolen Robotic Defense Program material out of Kano's hands. But can Jax and Sonya do it? Kano is a ruthless, evil leader of the "Black Dragon" international crime organization, and anyone who's tried to take him down has never lived to tell about it!

#9 - Raiden and Kenshi 7.66

Season 2 - Episode 3

We watch as the Earthrealm and Outworld warriors appear at the Mortal Kombat tournament island. Raiden greets the Earthrealm warriors. We also flashback to feudal Japan for the beginning of Kenshi's origin story.

#10 - Scorpion and Sub Zero 7.65

Season 2 - Episode 7

Flashback to feudal Japan, where Scorpion, his wife and his son are waylaid on the road by Sub Zero's angry younger brother. Scorpion is forced to kill him to protect his family. In the aftermath, Scorpion and Sub Zero attempt to renew a childhood friendship and form a truce between their warring clans.

#11 - Liu Kang and Kung Lao 7.58

Season 2 - Episode 1

Down and out Liu Kang gets into a drunken fight in a seedy Macau bar with the local gangsters. Liu Kang is not happy when Kung Lao comes to his rescue and the two have a tumultuous reunion.

Season 1 - Episode 1

We flash back to what has brought Liu Kang to such a low point in his life... we watch as his fiancée is murdered before his eyes. Back in the present, we watch as Kung Lao leaves his Macao monastery and approaches the portal to the Mortal Kombat tournament.

#14 - Johnny Cage 7.35

Season 1 - Episode 3

After unsuccessfully trying to sell his reality television pilot pitch to a studio exec, Johnny Cage, an American action-hero movie star who has fallen on hard times, is recruited by Shang Tsung, a powerful sorcerer who has the power to suck souls from people, to fight in the upcoming Mortal Kombat tournament.

#15 - Kitana and Mileena Chase Johnny Cage 7.32

Season 2 - Episode 5

We flash back to Kitana and Mileena getting their orders to enter the tournament... Kitana is uneasy about the truth of her past. She flashes back to a moment in Season 1 where she mistakenly murders her biological father. In the present, the sisters argue as they track Johnny Cage through the forest. They surprise him and chase him down.

#16 - Stryker vs Johnny Cage and Liu Kang 7.31

Season 2 - Episode 10

In the present, Stryker treats Johnny Cage's wounds when Liu Kang comes upon them and fights them both. Kung Lao appears, shocked that his old friend is here and that he is fighting with the warriors of Outworld.

#17 - Liu Kang and Shang Tsung 7.23

Season 2 - Episode 9

Flashback to the weeks before Liu Kang is recruited into the tournament. We see that Liu Kang has become a hitman as he murders Russian mobsters in a seedy motel. After the job is done, Liu Kang is visited by Shang Tsung, who recruits him to join the tournament... however this time, he'll fight on the darkside of the Outworld warriors.

#18 - Kitana & Mileena (2) 7.12

Season 1 - Episode 5

Kitana and Mileena have grown up thinking that they are sisters, yet have grown apart over the years. Despite Mileena's growing resentment towards Kitana, Shao Kahn uses them to destroy all who threaten his rule. But when they come upon King Jerrod on one of their missions, they finally learn the truth about their Mother and Father, and Kitana looks to plot her revenge against Shao Kahn.

#19 - Kitana & Mileena (1) 7.07

Season 1 - Episode 4

Beautiful, athletic, and trained as highly skilled assassins, Kitana and Mileena have grown up thinking that they are sisters. Shao Kahn, Emperor of the Outworld, has tricked Shang Tsung into becoming his servant for Mortal Kombat by making him clone Mileena as a Tarkatan clone of Kitana, out of Shao Kahn's fear that Kitana wouldn't love him enough if she ever found out the truth about her Mother and Father.
