#1 - A Sad Christmas Eve!
Shugo Chara! - Season 1 - Episode 12
Amu goes shopping with Nadeshiko and Yaya for a Christmas party. When Amu sees a music video by Utau, Yaya informs Amu that Utau is a new idol singer. Elsewhere, Utau is practicing her performance, but when she becomes disheartened, her manager, Yukari Sanjo, brings up Ikuto. Utau is then determined to work harder. As Amu hurriedly runs home, she comes to a park where different groups are performing music. Amu hears a sorrowful melody and when she follows it, she discovers that it is Ikuto playing his violin. After the Guardian's Christmas party the next day, Amu returns home. However, the Guardian Characters feel the presence of X Eggs. They return to the park and find that everyone's eggs have been extracted en masse and have turn into X Eggs. In the middle of them stood Ikuto who disappears in a burst of wind along with the eggs.

Kujo is enjoying Christmas together with Victorique when he is taken by force from the Academy as King Rupert declared that all foreign citizens should be sent back to their home countries in spite if the imminent conflict in Saubure. However, Kujo manages to escape and returns to the Academy eager to meet Victorique again, unaware that he became a hostage in Albert's hands as a mean to ensure her cooperation with his plan.

To complicate matters, two of the tourists who were visiting the village with them are killed among strange circumstances.

Kujo and Avril explore one of the school's towers and Avril figures that it is related to the legend of Leviathan, an alchemist who lived there decades before. Victorique stumbles on a pop-up book containing a cryptic message aledgely from Leviathan himself and when a death occurs at the top of the tower, she decides to investigate by herself.

As Suō and July ride a train through Tokyo Suō collapses from a high fever, waking up in Kiko's bedroom. Kiko and Gai decide to help Suō search Tokyo for Suō's mother, but with little success. Misaki finds a recording by Amber which instructs her to find a certain CD, which informs her that Izanami will eventually meet Izanagi, at which point Hell's Gate will open. Following the advice of Madame Orielle, Suō proceeds to an airport to find her mother. At the airport Hei appears and kidnaps one of Misaki's teammates, easily evading Mina and escaping. Suō's mother cries upon meeting Suō in the airport, believing she is her twin brother Shion. In a car Suō tries to explain that she is not Shion, but her mother dismisses this saying that Suō died 8 years ago.

Hanako Hattori) and Iris attended a pilot conference, and miss their flight back to Mars. Nagisa arranges for the two of them to board a private company plane, carrying a famous space engineering professor. Hanako and Iris realize the space plane has been hijacked, which is relayed to Nagisa and Director Kiryu. Nagisa doubts that the director will handle the situation and asks A-TEC to save them. With A-TEC's help, Hanako and Iris secure the cockpit and set course for Mars. A hijacker tries to shoot at Iris, but the shots end up shattering the front window. This triggers an old memory within Iris, becoming helpless as the plane veers on a crash course. Suddenly, an unknown ship saves them, while Nagisa is perplexed as to who sent that ship.
